1. Pilot Scope
LightningWars is currently an invitation-only promotional pilot
organized by H. Begeman through an existing entity. The first step is
one or two small sessions with logs and payment records collected for
support, accounting, legal, and KSA-style review. Data processing
should stay limited to what is needed for booking, check-in, match
operation, payment status, settlement handling, support, safety, and
accounting.
2. Data We May Process
Depending on the flow used, we may process your name, email address,
18+ age confirmation, player nickname, Lightning Address or LNURL,
booking details, payment status, settlement status, match result,
rank/profile status, timestamps, technical logs, and Telegram
link/status if Telegram match updates are enabled.
3. Why We Use This Data
We use this data to organize the pilot, identify players, connect a
player to a wallet identity, confirm payment, run the match, record
the final ranking, review settlement, communicate with players,
prevent duplicate payout attempts, and keep basic administrative
records.
4. Lightning Address and LNURL
Your Lightning Address or LNURL acts as your check-in identity and
wallet route during the pilot. LightningWars may keep a separate
pilot profile for rank, form, match history, and settlement review.
Any compatible Lightning Address or LNURL wallet may be used. We
never ask for wallet seed phrases, private keys, passwords, or
account login details.
5. Payment and Payout Records
Payment and settlement records may include amounts, status,
timestamps, transaction or payment references, payout run IDs, failure
reasons, and claim fallback status. These records are needed for
audit, troubleshooting, accounting, and preventing accidental
duplicate payouts.
6. Telegram Updates
If Telegram updates are used, a Telegram chat link or status may be
processed to send match-start, hit, elimination, ranking, settlement,
or session messages. Telegram is optional for communication and
should not be used to expose private payment secrets.
7. Data Sharing
Data may be processed by the tools and providers needed to operate
the pilot, such as wallet/payment infrastructure, email or booking
tools, hosting, Telegram, and technical support systems. We do not
sell player data.
The public join-interest and demo-review forms are stored on
LightningWars-controlled hosting so the organizer can follow up with
interested players, reviewers, and partners. Form submissions can
include nickname, name, email address, Telegram handle, optional
Lightning Address or LNURL, interest type, review angle, requested
player count, notes, confirmation status, timestamp, IP address, and
browser user agent.
The public website may display a live BTC reference price and
pilot pricing information. The public website itself does not decide
match results, eligibility, or settlement.
8. Retention
Pilot records should be kept only as long as needed for operation,
support, accounting, legal obligations, dispute handling, and
technical audit. Payment, payout, and accounting records may need to
be retained longer than short-lived technical logs.
9. Your Rights
You may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy
of your personal data where applicable. Some records may need to be
retained for accounting, dispute handling, or payout audit purposes.
10. Contact
Contact for privacy, booking, support, refund, safety, and payout
questions: use the demo review form on the homepage. The pilot is organized by
