LightningWars Rules

Read this before you enter the field. LightningWars is a free-for-all laser game where your result, rank, and sats settlement are checked by the operator after the match.

Match Format

LightningWars pilot rounds are played as individual free-for-all matches. There are no fixed teams. A round can last up to about 20 minutes, but the operator may end it earlier when the field result, safety, equipment, weather, or location requires it.

When the round starts, players get 30 seconds to enter the field and find cover. The operator's calls always override this page.

Elimination

Your vest has sensors on the front and back. Hits on the vest count. Four confirmed hits received means you are out of the round.

When you are out, raise your gun, stop fighting, and walk back to the operator point without blocking, shielding, distracting, or helping other players.

Safety Rules

Shoot at the vest sensors, not at the head. Do not use the guns, vests, or other equipment to hit, push, block, trip, or intimidate another player. Keep the sensors visible, respect the field boundaries, and keep the game clean.

Your Sats Stack

Before play, each player pays a funding invoice. The app splits that invoice into the LightningWars fee, a protected floor, an exposed wallet, and a bonus contribution for the match.

The protected floor cannot be shot away. The exposed wallet is the risky part of your stack. Under the current high-stakes pilot model, one confirmed hit received removes about one quarter of your exposed wallet. Four hits can empty the exposed wallet.

Scoring And Rewards

Shots are tracked, but shots do not currently cost sats by themselves. Sats move through the reviewed settlement after the match, not as live Lightning payments during the round.

Hits, kills, placement, hits received, deaths, and remaining exposed wallet all matter. Good shooting can create combat rewards, and the final settlement model is shown in the app and checked by the operator before any payout is completed. Pilot reward rules may be adjusted between events as long as the active round rules are shown before players join.

Ranking

Ranking is applied only after reviewed settlement. The ranking model can use placement, kills, deaths, hits, hits received, shots, and net sats. Rating changes are capped, so one match cannot create an unlimited rank jump or drop.

Settlement Review

The operator reviews the final LaserWar result before settlement, ranking, or payout is completed. If equipment data, player identity, wallet information, safety issues, or match integrity are unclear, the operator may pause settlement, correct the record, void the round, or apply the pilot terms.
